Chiltern Modular Carpet Tiles are committed to ensuring that your finished installation both looks good and performs well. Therefore we can supply you with suitable adhesives to complete the job.
 
We recommend that all installations are installed on a full tackifier system. The tackifier we recommend is our own CTN300.
 
Tackifier is not a permanent bond adhesive, it allows the tiles to be replaced easily as necessary.
 
Application is straight forward - brush the floor to remove dust and debris - apply with a roller - and leave to "go off" - the adhesive never really dries - it remains "tackie". After 1/2 hour to 1 hour the tiles can be installed.
 
If the tiles are applied into "wet" adhesives it can result in a permanent bond.
 
For smaller domestic projects the spray adhesive is quite adequate - brush the floor as above and spray on the back of the tile - allow 1 litre of adhesives for each 7 m2 of tiles - and depending on usage each spray tin should cover 3-4 m2.
